I am a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio, growing up on a family farm which instilled values of hard work and responsibility. During my college years, I worked for a civil engineering firm supporting commercial and residential development, surveys, and property inspections for financial institutions. In 1990, I began a career lasting 33 years in the automotive manufacturing business for a major automaker, with roles including machining production, advancing to working on projects in the quality engineering group, purchasing group, and for the last 10 years supplier and crisis management. Building relationships with many suppliers, contractors and individuals has definitely been a key to success. I also have a unique skill set in trouble shooting, the ability to solve problems using a critical thinking approach, while maintaining honesty and integrity to accomplish specific goals and win-win type situations. After purchasing our own family farm in 2000, my wife and I continue to enjoy grain farming as well as raising Wagyu beef cattle. Over the years, my experience in buying properties, developing a small subdivision, designing and contracting and selling several of our own homes, I felt it was a perfect lead in to a second career. I am excited to have my real estate license to pursue a career in something that has always been of interest to me.
