Celebrate and give thanks with the Lima First Church as they throw a Thanksgiving feast for the entire community! The dinner is free and open to the public. Dinners will be available inside the banquet room at the Civic Center for carryout or dine inside. For drive thru carryout dinners, drive in the Wingate parking lot from Elizabeth Street to the covered lobby awning where meals will be handed out. Dinner is organized by the Compassionate Ministries of Lima, Inc.

Lima Symphony Orchestra will be featured performing music from The Nutcracker broadcast over a radio station that can be heard on the fairgrounds as guests enjoy the lights. Tickets may be purchased with cash at the entrance.

Holiday spirit blazes in Bluffton! Thousands of visitors will come to Bluffton’s downtown shopping district for the Blaze of Lights when celebrations include a parade, live entertainment, a lighting ceremony and festive activities. The parade begins at 5:00 p.m. Trophies will be awarded for the best floats in the parade. One of the largest holiday parades in the area begins on Snider Road at 5 PM and travels up Main Street to College Avenue. Activities on November 30 begin with Small Business Saturday specials at downtown businesses. At 6:30 p.m. the lighting ceremony will begin with the reading of the Christmas story followed by the lighting of the Ream display.

Visit us for the beloved annual event! Over 100 decorated Christmas Trees from community organizations will deck the halls of the Museum. The Christmas Tree Festival will feature “Evergreen” the talking Christmas Tree and tours of the decorated MacDonell House. There will be daily demonstrations in the Log House as well as activities in the Children’s Discovery Center. Overflow parking is available at St. Rita’s Medical Center parking lot to the immediate north of the Museum on High Street.
