In Memory of Ralph E. Haggard
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our longtime colleague, Realtor, and friend, Ralph E. Haggard, who passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the age of 81.
Ralph began his real estate career in 1977 and spent nearly five decades serving clients through Ron Spencer Real Estate. Throughout his remarkable career, he exemplified professionalism, integrity & a sincere commitment to serving both clients & colleagues–helping generations of buyers and sellers navigate some of life’s most important decisions.
Although Ralph witnessed tremendous changes in real estate, marketing, financing, and technology over the years, the principles at the heart of his work never changed. He believed that trust, honesty, and professional integrity should guide every transaction. Those values earned him the confidence of his clients, the respect of his peers, and a lasting place within the Ron Spencer Real Estate family.
Ralph was an active and respected member of the real estate community. His dedication to organized real estate was evident through his participation and membership in the National Association of Realtors and the Ohio Association of Realtors and his service as president of the West Central Association of Realtors in 1990.
Before beginning his real estate career, Ralph also worked as a brick mason for Peterson Construction for 14 years, bringing his same strong work ethic & craftsmanship to all of his life endeavors.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ralph will be remembered not only for his friendly disposition & willingness to help others, but also for the relationships he formed and the lives he touched throughout his many years of service within our community. Ralph was a proud member of the Elks for many years as well as a proud fan of the Denver Broncos & The Ohio State Buckeyes. We are eternally grateful for the dedication, experience, and friendship he shared with all of us.
Ralph’s presence will be deeply missed, but the example he set through a lifetime of honest and dependable service will remain part of Ron Spencer Real Estate for years to come.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Mary, & his sister, Evelyn, as well as to the rest of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
